爱国主义和民族主义的区别是什么？
前者为自己的国家干了什么而骄傲，而后者是无论自己的国家干了什么，都骄傲。前者的态度滋养的是责任感，而后者的态度滋养的是傲慢和战争。
我最喜欢的有关爱国主义的话，来自Eleanor Roosevelt ：““True patriotism springs from a belief in the dignity of the individual, freedom and equality not only for Americans but for all people on earth, universal brotherhood and good will, and a constant striving toward the principles and ideals on which this country was founded.”
真正的爱国主义源于对个体尊严，自由，和平等的追求。
